Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
In case you choose to buy one of our virtual private server packages, you'll be able to choose one of the three Linux releases that we offer for the Operating System of the servers - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're among the most widespread and most dependable server OSs available and we offer them in order to give you a choice for the software environment of your machine in case that you want to install some application with particular requirements in terms of the packages that need to be present on the hosting server. We also offer three internet hosting Control Panels and which one of them you can use depends on the OS that you have selected. We leave the option to change the server Operating System open, so when you want to use an application that requires an OS different from the one you have, we can always re-install the VPS. In addition, we can keep the OS up-to-date on a weekly basis by installing all of the security updates that may be released.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're cost-free and they won't increase the price of your new hosting server, but also because they are very secure and stable. Each of them is backed up by a large community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from a myriad of software packages that you may install on your server in case the application that you intend to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and since we would like to provide you with as much freedom as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a given Operating System, we could change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you will need alternative one. We will also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
